5 Themes of Geography:
Location: relative and absolute

Region: an area with similar characteristics (human or physical)

Place: what an area looks like (buildings, physical features, culture, language, etc.) 

Human-Envir. Interaction: the relationship between humans and their environment  (humans adapt, change and depend on their environment).  The interaction can be positive or negative.

Movement: how/why people, goods and information move
